Varel Singapore, part of the Tribute Portfolio by Marriott, seeks a Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms are impeccably clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared.

You will contribute to memorable stays by maintaining high cleanliness standards, supporting special housekeeping tasks, and ensuring guest requests are handled promptly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Prior experience as a Room Attendant or in hotel housekeeping.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Friendly and guest-focused attitude.
• Good time management and efficiency.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Available to start on short notice.
• Able to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Make beds, replace linens and towels, and replenish guest amenities according to hotel standards
• Ensure guest rooms are fully prepared and personalised in accordance with guest preferences and special requests
• Inspect rooms thoroughly to ensure quality standards are met before releasing them for occupancy
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and unusual room conditions promptly to the appropriate department
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, pantries, and storage areas in a clean, organised, and well-stocked condition
• Support deep cleaning projects, VIP room preparations, and special housekeeping assignments as required
• Observe all workplace safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Respond to guest requests promptly, professionally, and courteously

As a Room Attendant, you will be the heartbeat of our guest experience—ensuring every guest room is impeccably clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Key responsibilities

About you

• Prior experience as a Room Attendant or in hotel housekeeping, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Pre-opening hotel experience is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused with a positive attitude
• Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform manual tasks and comfortable with prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
• Able to start work within short notice
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
