Job summary

Agile Robots in Singapore seeks a Solution Engineer to support business development by delivering technical expertise during customer engagements, providing product demonstrations, and explaining our automation solutions.

You will design robotic automation concepts, prepare technical documentation, and assist in POC and feasibility studies, while coordinating with engineering across regions and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Robotics or related engineering disciplines.
• Min 2 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics or equivalent.
• Experience in application engineering and technical support for regional sales.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and robotics industries; experience with robotic arms is a plus.
• Understanding of robot programming principles and PLC/automation fundamentals.
• Strong communication, presentation, coordination and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Mandarin an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across targeted regions.

Responsibilities

• Support business development with technical expertise during customer engagements.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demos and solution workshops.
• Explain Agile Robots' products and automation solutions to customers.
• Recommend suitable robotic products based on applications and production needs.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solution proposals.
• Prepare solution concepts and technical proposals.
• Support POC, feasibility studies and customer evaluations.
• Assist in system sizing, robot selection and payload calculations.
• Travel with regional team across targeted countries.
• Engage manufacturers, distributors, system integrators and end users.
• Build strong technical relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Gather requirements and communicate them to engineering.
• Act as the primary technical contact during sales.
• Provide timely responses to technical inquiries.
• Build customer confidence in Agile Robots' technologies.
