Job summary

XSQUARE Technologies in Singapore seeks a hands-on Robotics Engineer focused on control systems and embedded firmware to build the core AGV control stack for autonomous forklifts. This role bridges high-level navigation with low-level hardware execution and requires strong engineering discipline for scalable product delivery.

You will own MCU firmware, work with ROS 2, CAN bus, and real-time control, collaborating across teams to deploy robust, factory-grade solutions in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ for real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with multi-threaded embedded software design.
• Hands-on experience with ROS 2 for control and navigation stacks.

Responsibilities

• Interface high-level Fleet Management with truck hardware via CAN, analog, and digital signals.
• Design real-time vehicle control frameworks using ROS 2 for various AGV models.
• Develop trajectory control and local planners for warehouse environments.
• Build tooling and diagnostics for vehicle health monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Participate in on-site deployments to calibrate and optimize system performance.
• Own MCU firmware on STM32 boards, ensuring robust IPC communication.
