Job summary

XSQUARE Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer specializing in control systems and embedded firmware to advance our AGV control stack for autonomous forklifts.

You will bridge high-level navigation with hardware execution, own end-to-end vehicle control logic, and contribute to scalable product delivery.

Proficiency in C++, embedded C, Python, ROS 2, CAN, and MCU firmware (STM32) is required; hands-on experience with real-time systems and PCB-level debugging preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++, embedded C for real-time apps and Python.
• Experience with CAN bus and industrial protocols.
• Contributions to autonomous vehicle or mobile robotics projects.
• Strong ROS 2 (and ROS 1) knowledge.
• Able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying blockers and dependencies.
• Hands-on MCU firmware experience at PCB level.
• Familiar with VDA 5050 and multi-vendor fleet orchestration.
• Knowledge of electronics, schematic design and PCB troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Interface between Fleet Management software and truck hardware; manage control signals.
• Design and maintain real-time vehicle control frameworks using ROS 2.
• Develop trajectory control and local planners for warehouses.
• Build tooling and diagnostics to monitor vehicle health.
• Assist with on-site deployments for calibration and testing.
• Own MCU boards (STM32) firmware and IPC-base communication.
