Job summary

ChemLex is seeking an Automation Assembly & Wiring Technician to join our Singapore engineering team. You will support the assembly, commissioning, maintenance and continuous improvement of our automated chemistry equipment, working closely with mechanical, electrical and automation engineers to build and commission sophisticated robotic systems.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical control cabinet assembly and wiring.
Low-voltage electrical certification preferred.
Hands-on experience in the assembly and commissioning of linear motion systems (guide rails, ball screws, rack-and-pinion).
Experience assembling large-scale equipment.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly and commissioning of automation equipment.
Perform electrical wiring for automation equipment.
Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
Assist engineers with equipment testing and validation.
