Job summary

A PLUS MANPOWER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a junior AI/robotics engineer to develop computer vision, robotic navigation, and obstacle avoidance capabilities at one-north in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in AI, computer vision, or robotics.
• Proficient in Python, with basic knowledge of C++.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2 and robotic perception technologies.
• Proactive, responsible, and equipped with strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to support on-site customer deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer vision, robotic navigation, and obstacle avoidance capabilities.
• Apply Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to enable environmental understanding and task instruction interpretation.
• Integrate AI models with cameras, sensors, ROS 2, and robotic control systems.
• Optimise model inference performance on NVIDIA Jetson and GPU platforms.
• Participate in system testing, on-site customer deployments, and troubleshooting.
