Job summary

A PLUS MANPOWER SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on AI/Robotics engineer to join our on-site team at one-north, focusing on development of computer vision, robotic navigation, and obstacle avoidance capabilities.

You will apply Vision-Language Models to interpret environments and tasks, integrate AI with cameras, sensors and ROS 2, and optimise inference on NVIDIA Jetson and GPUs, plus participate in system testing and on-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in AI, computer vision, or robotics.
• Proficient in Python, with basic knowledge of C++.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2 and robotic perception technologies.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to support on-site deployments.

Location: one-north
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise model inference performance on NVIDIA Jetson and GPU platforms.

• Participate in system testing, on-site customer deployments, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in AI, computer vision, or robotics.

• Proficient in Python, with basic knowledge of C++.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, and PyTorch.

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2 and robotic perception technologies.

• Proactive, responsible, and equipped with strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to support on-site customer deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with VLMs, SLAM, NVIDIA Jetson, or TensorRT will be an advantage.
