Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is recruiting Site & Safety Engineers to supervise contractor works for an islandwide infrastructure project.

You will oversee site activities, monitor safety compliance and ensure works are completed within approved road closure periods. Responsibilities include supervising roadside electrical and traffic systems, verifying lifting plans, and coordinating with teams to safely reinstate roads.

Qualifications

• Must have Civil or Structural Engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors during road closures, ensuring compliance with work methods and traffic control plans.
• Verify traffic management, lighting, safety personnel, and protective measures before works begin.
• Oversee lifting activities with approved plans and qualified personnel.
• Confirm electrical isolation and restoration where required.
• Monitor progress and coordinate to reinstate and reopen roads on time.
• Conduct safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Document site conditions and report any damages.
• Prepare nightly reports on works, incidents, and reopening times.
• Support maintenance works and site inspections as required.
