Qualifications

• At least 5 years of field safety experience supervising roadside electrical and traffic systems.
• Knowledge of Civil or Structural Engineering fundamentals.
• Able to commit to the stated split working hours and island-wide site duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors during approved road closures and ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments and traffic control plans.
• Verify traffic control measures, signs, cones, lighting and safety personnel are in place before works begin.
• Ensure electrical isolation is completed and certified before dismantling; restore power supplies before road reopening.
• Witness gantry dismantling and lifting, check lifting plans, personnel and exclusion zones.
• Enforce the 3.00am decision point to abort removal works if crane setup timing is tight.
• Monitor progress to meet the 5.00am road reopening deadline and escalate delays promptly.
• Conduct safety inspections, stop unsafe works and document non-conformities for follow-up.
• Record site conditions, report damage and submit nightly progress reports.
• Support related maintenance works and site inspections as required.

Job scope

Requirements
