Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience with road design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction materials (asphalt, reinforced concrete, steel) preferred.
• Proficiency with GIS software and data analysis/visualisation tools such as Tableau is desirable.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills; good problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in technology and data analysis; willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and review workflows, regulations, guidelines and practices on related road asset maintenance works.
• Collaborate with LTA officers, consultants and contractors on inspection, maintenance, upgrading and renewal works.
• Manage the daily operation and maintenance of road assets.
• Prepare and issue instructions / work service orders to contractors and consultants.
• Handle public feedback and manage site matters / incidents.
• Conduct audits and use data to drive decisions and prioritise actions.
• Utilise technology tools and systems to manage road asset maintenance works.
