Job summary

Schneider Electric is recruiting a Risk & Resilience Intern in Singapore (Kallang) to support regional risk intelligence, data dashboards, and crisis response. You will work with the Head of APAC Security & Safety on strategic projects, site data analysis, and resilience initiatives, gaining hands-on exposure to governance and continuity planning.

The role emphasizes research, analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and English communication across cultures.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Security, Resilience, International Relations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with ability to turn complex information into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to prepare concise reports.

Responsibilities

  • Support process improvement and convergence across Security, Safety, Real Estate, and resilience.
  • Help turn site assessments and investment needs into a regional view of protection.
  • Transform data into dashboards, insights, and presentations for leadership.
  • Assist strategic projects like APAC strategy via market research and data analysis.
  • Monitor risk events and produce timely alerts and updates.
  • Assist in crisis and incident support and business continuity planning.

Location: Kallang

Turn insight into impact across APAC. As a Risk & Resilience Intern, you will work directly with the Head of APAC Security & Safety to help anticipate emerging risks, shape regional strategies, and strengthen how we protect our people, workplaces, and operations. You will transform data and ideas into practical solutions, executive insights, and real-world improvements—gaining hands‑on exposure to strategic projects, crisis response, business continuity, workplace protection, and Security–Safety–Real Estate convergence across one of the world’s most diverse regions.

What will you do:
  • Process improvement and convergence: Bring fresh ideas, research good practices, and help create simpler tools and ways of working across Security, Safety, Real Estate, and resilience.
  • Workplace and Asset Protection: Help turn site assessments, improvement plans, projects, and investment needs into a clear regional view of how we protect our people, workplaces, and assets.
  • Data, dashboards, and executive reporting: Transform data into clear dashboards, insights, and presentations that help leaders understand risk and make decisions.
  • Strategic projects: Support strategic projects such as APAC strategy via market research, site-data analysis, technology benchmarking, and preparation of decision materials.
  • Risk intelligence: Follow emerging events and trends across APAC, check the facts, and produce timely alerts and brief risk updates.
  • Crisis and incident support: Join the regional response to real incidents by helping track developments, employee welfare, key actions, and lessons learned.
  • Business continuity and preparedness: Help sites and countries prepare for disruption by reviewing plans, identifying gaps, and keeping priority actions on track.
What qualifications will make you successful:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Security, Resilience, International Relations, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence in preparing concise reports and presentations.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SharePoint, data visualization tools, collaboration platforms, or responsible AI-enabled research is an advantage.
  • Curious, proactive, organized, and comfortable working across cultures and functions.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
