Job summary

Societe Generale in Singapore seeks a trainee to assist the Chief Risk Officer. You will monitor credit, counterparty and market risks, and prepare Enterprise Risk Committee materials with insights from dashboards.

You will communicate with regional and local teams and support the Risk Appetite Statement and RMF documentation updates. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Python are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Banking, Risk management, accounting, business administration or the equivalent in finance.
• Internships in banking/auditing or financial consulting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Risk Officer by monitoring and tracking credit, counterparty, and market risks in line with policies.
• Prepare quarterly Enterprise Risk Committee materials for the Singapore Branch and SG Securities Singapore with insightful commentary and trend analysis.
• Maintain communication with regional and local teams on risk matters.
• Support annual review of Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents.
• Conduct gap analyses to ensure regulatory alignment and assist with updates as needed.
• Contribute to reviewing and improving internal controls and business processes.
