Job summary

PARADISE ORIENTAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an assistant to the Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and oversee a service crew in a busy setting. The role includes deputising for managers when needed, ensuring smooth service, and upholding company SOPs.

You will also handle cashiering, participate in interviews and training, monitor staff grooming and conduct roles, and help monitor labour and F&B costing with regular stock checks. The position emphasizes teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Supervise a team of service crew to ensure smooth restaurant operation
• Handle cashiering duties and banking duties
• Conduct interviews for new hires
• Guide and train new/existing Service Crew
• Maintain utmost service standards and grooming among staff
• Assist in crew performance appraisals and confirmations
• Attend to customer feedback and complaints

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant Manager or a management staff appointed by the Company
• Support and assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the restaurant
• Deputise in the absence of the Managers
• Constantly motivate and cultivate a team spirit
• Conduct daily check lists
• Assist Restaurant Manager to monitor labour and F&B costing matters, including bi-monthly stock take
• Adhere to Company’s standard operating procedures
• Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
