Job summary

Allianz Global Investors is seeking a Rewards Specialist for the Asia Pacific region to shape and drive the APAC rewards agenda. The role collaborates with regional functions, HR Business Partners, and rewards teams to develop strategies aligned with global governance and compensation frameworks.

You will work from either Hong Kong or Singapore, leading reward initiatives, advising on compensation matters, and integrating acquired teams into the rewards framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, or rewards.
• Expertise in compensation, benefits design, incentive plans, and reward governance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and advise on rewards topics.
• Understanding of local regulations, internal compliance and governance related to rewards.
• Strong communication and partnering skills and ability to work within a team but also in an independent manner.
• AI skills: Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT

• Drive strategy and evolution of employee benefit programs, balancing cost efficiency, value, and market competitiveness.

Join us now as Rewards Specialist in Asia Pacific within the Human Resources Rewards team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the Asia Pacific rewards agenda while ensuring alignment with global compensation, benefits, and governance frameworks. Partners with regional/local functional heads, HR Business Partners, and Rewards colleagues to develop reward strategies that support business growth, talent objectives, and evolving workforce needs across the region.

You will be based either in our Hong Kong office or Singapore office.

What You Do

• Lead the development and execution of Asia Pacific reward strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with AllianzGI's global compensation philosophy, governance standards, and business priorities.
• Act as an advisor to regional/local functional heads and HR Business Partners on compensation matters such as new hire compensation, retention, governance approvals, and annual compensation review activities.
• Plan and lead efforts to integrate acquired teams or organizations into our rewards framework and programs working closely with regional HR colleagues.
• Proactively assess market trends, regulatory developments, and workforce needs across the region, recommending and implementing reward solutions that support organizational growth, pay transparency, regulatory compliance, and business transformation initiatives.
• Drive the strategy and evolution of employee benefit programs, balancing cost efficiency, employee value, and market competitiveness; identify opportunities to leverage scale with other local Allianz entities, streamline plan design and administration, and optimize delivery through outsourcing where appropriate.

What You Bring
