Job summary

Pet Lovers Centre Singapore is seeking a dedicated recruiter to plan and secure the company’s staffing needs in a fast-paced retail environment. You will liaise with line managers, project future skills, and design EVP/talent outreach to hire directly for candidates.

You will manage onboarding, assist with employee relations, and run full recruitment cycles across multiple channels to attract quality retail talent.

Qualifications

• Direct high volume recruitment experience in retail or F&B retail environment.
• Strong in business partnering, communication and presentation skills
• Able to build and leverage strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired objectives.
• Knowledge of local employment regulations.
• High initiative, independent and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and secures the organization's workforce needs with speed, efficiency and quality candidates.
• Liaise with line managers to understand critical manpower requirements.
• Project future skills demand and collaborates with hiring managers to prioritise requirements.
• Designs the employee value proposition (EVP) and talent outreach plans to hire direct for potential candidates.
• Establish and execute onboarding and orientation of new hires.
• Influence and work with leaders and managers to assimilate new hires into the organisation to become effective contributors readily.
• Manage employee issues and supports line managers in exit and retirement processes.
• Design, develops and drive creative sourcing/hiring strategies and post all open jobs internally via corporate careers website and externally via LinkedIn, FastJobs, retail specific job sites, etc. to reach quality retail talent.
• Performs full recruitment cycle from advertising, screening, interviewing, recommendations to successful placements.
• Combine social media efforts in market networking to identify potential talent.
• Work with external agencies and educational institutes on career fairs, recruitment exercises, traineeships and internship programs.
• Ensure all job advertisement and postings are up to date.
• Schedule and coordinates interview arrangements with hiring managers and conducts interviews.
• Perform pre-screening of applications and resumes received.
• Update and maintain Human Resource information in a timely manner, including and not limited to open positions reports and tracking of employee referrals.
• Prepares weekly and monthly hiring and turnover reports
• Ensure efficient and effective utilization of recruitment budget
• Participates and assists with HR related projects.
• Any other duties / tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
