Job summary

AL HASEEB PTE. LTD. is seeking a friendly Store Assistant to join our store in Singapore. You will help customers identify and purchase items, restock shelves, and create appealing displays while delivering excellent service.

In this role you will handle cash registers, drive sales, maintain store conditions and visual merchandising, and assist with staff training and opening hours. The ideal candidate has retail experience, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven retail sales experience.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• The ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Previous specialty retail management experience, preferably in the outdoor industry
• Retail background preferred-previous management experience
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving store recruiting goals and running the cash register.
• Drive the achievement of the store's sale targets while meeting individual sales goals.
• Maximize the business potential of the store and sales by department per company strategy.
• Monitor data quality in the sales staff's client books and collaborate on action plans.
• Facilitate staff trainings and new hire inductions with proper follow-up.
• Deliver exceptional service to all clientele while upholding brand standards.
• Identify performance issues and policy violations and collaborate with the Store Manager.
• Keep the store fully stocked and maintain high visual merchandising standards.
• Deliver exceptional sales services to improve customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers to identify needs and preferences.
• Operate cash registers and POS machines.
• Receive and verify new shipments.
