Job summary

Positive Design Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Leader to oversee retail shopfitting projects from award through final handover.

You will coordinate with clients, designers, production teams and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role requires hands-on involvement on site and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail shopfitting, interior fit-out or related industry.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with clients, designers, production teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage retail shopfitting projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, quotations and timelines.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate production and fabrication with factories and suppliers.
• Manage site installation, including coordination of contractors and site teams.
• Conduct site visits and attend client / project meetings when required.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage project variations, costs, purchase orders and final accounts.
• Ensure quality, workmanship and project requirements are met.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates to management.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs.
• Guide and support junior Project Managers / Project Executives where required.
