Senior Retail Project Lead: End-to-End Shopfitting

Job summary

Positive Design is seeking a Project Leader to manage retail shopfitting projects from award through installation and handover. You will coordinate with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and within budget.

You will review drawings, schedules and budgets, plan resources, and monitor progress while maintaining high quality and strong stakeholder communication. Travel to site works may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail shopfitting, interior fit-out or related industry.
• Strong understanding of shopfitting, fabrication, fixtures and site installation.
• Experience managing projects from design coordination through production and installation.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills.
• Confident dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage retail shopfitting projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, quotations and timelines.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate production and fabrication with factories and suppliers.
• Manage site installation and coordination of contractors and site teams.
• Conduct site visits and attend client/project meetings as required.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage variations, costs, PO's and final accounts.
• Ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates to management.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to execute approved designs.
• Guide and support junior Project Managers / Executives when required.
