Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven retail sales experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as POS software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Previous specialty retail management experience, preferably in the outdoor industry
• Retail background preferred-previous management experience
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing items.
• Restock the retail space and maintain stock levels.
• Create appealing merchandising displays.
• Run cash register and POS transactions.
• Help achieve store and department sales targets.
• Monitor data accuracy in sales records and propose actions.
• Deliver exceptional service and manage customer relationships.
• Enforce store policies and assist Store Manager as needed.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Support new hire inductions and staff trainings.
