Job summary

FairPrice Group in Singapore is seeking a Manager, Real Estate to drive our real estate strategy for store expansion. You will identify, evaluate and secure premium locations, and manage lease portfolios to support growth.

The role requires strong negotiation, financial acumen and stakeholder management with landlords, agents and internal teams to deliver timely openings and renovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or related field.
• Min 5 years of relevant real estate experience in retail or related industries.
• Proven track record of successful lease negotiation and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of retail real estate market trends and industry best practices.
• Prior experience in change management and process improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial projections and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the identification, evaluation, execution and disposition of retail store locations that align with our brand strategy and market expansion goals.
• Partner and collaborate closely with Business Units to establish site selection criteria.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships through direct engagement with landlords, real estate agents and other key stakeholders.
• Manage new and existing leases
• Securing favourable lease terms
• Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, project and marketing to ensure successful store openings and renovations.
• Manage ad-hoc operational issues and landlord related issues.
