Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in retail or supermarket operations.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, sales reporting and basic accounting.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in computerised inventory, POS and reporting systems.
• Able to manage multiple operational responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supermarket operations and support management in planning.
• Monitor sales performance, promotions, pricing and sales targets.
• Supervise staff, prepare work schedules and coordinate daily duties.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, stock replenishment and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate accounts-related matters, sales records, expenses and business reports.
• Analyse sales and inventory reports to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock movement, product expiry dates and minimise wastage.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant business, food safety and workplace requirements.
• Assist management in business planning, budgeting and operational improvements.
