Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore seeks a Head, Business Risk Management (Retail) WRB Singapore to lead 1LoD risk for Retail Banking, partnering with business leadership to identify, assess and monitor non-financial risks while enabling growth, customer outcomes and strategic objectives.

This role serves as the primary interface with Second Line Risk, Compliance, Audit and regulators, embedding a strong risk culture and driving risk assessments, controls and governance across WRB Singapore

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related field.
Significant experience in retail risk, governance and controls.
Strong collaboration with business, risk, compliance and audit partners.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end risk management within the WRB Process Universe and associated risks.
Provide independent challenge on business strategies, change initiatives and new products.
Ensure risk considerations are integrated into business decision-making processes.
Oversee RCSAs, control testing and remediation activities.
Promote risk culture and governance across WRB Singapore and ASEAN.
