Job summary

PERTAMA MERCHANDISING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks retail staff to greet customers, answer enquiries, and assist with purchases while offering professional product advice.

With at least 1 year in retail, you will work 44 hours weekly, including weekends and public holidays. Training is provided and new joiners receive guaranteed commission for the first 3 months while you establish sales performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers for enquiries and purchases.
• Provide professional and unbiased sales and product advice.
• Greet and thank every walk-in customer for shopping at our stores.
• Maintain high level of customer service at all times.
• Follow up promptly on customer actions, enquiries or deliveries.
• Keep store area clean and products well merchandised.
• Ensure price tickets and displays comply with guidelines.
• Achieve KPIs and monthly sales/gross profit targets.
• Drive product care and attachment sales to meet weekly/monthly targets.
• Participate in ad hoc duties or events as required.

Key Responsibility:

• Attend to walk-in customer on enquiries, purchases, or any assistance needed
• Provide shoppers with professional / unbiased sales and product advice
• Greet and thank every walk-in customer for shopping at our retail outlets
• Always maintain and provide good customer service level
• Provide prompt follow up on required actions, customer’s issues/enquiries/deliveries
• Carry out daily area cleaning before store operations and during operation hours when necessary
• Ensuring products are well merchandised, price ticketing is put up in accordance with company guidelines, display units and areas are always clean and tidy.
• Achieve KPIs set by the company and monthly Sales / Gross Profit budgets set by the retail manager
• Driving product care and attachment sales and achieve the required weekly / monthly sales target and expectations
• Participate in ad hoc duties or events being assigned by the retail managers or direct superior when required
• Follow company’s guidelines on dress code, personal appearance, putting on name tag and required badges during store operation hours
• Adherence to company’s policies, code of conduct and operational procedures

Key Requirements:

• Min. 1 year experience in retail industry
• Min. GCE'N' Level and above
• Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets
