Job summary

Shopee is expanding its SG SBS Business Development team with a Retail Acquisition Executive to source and onboard high-quality FMCG suppliers, shaping assortment strategy and regulatory compliance. You will negotiate terms, analyze supplier viability, and manage end-to-end onboarding for international trade.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sourcing strategy to identify, qualify, and onboard new FMCG suppliers.
• Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, MOQs, contractual terms, and partnerships.
• Conduct market and supplier landscape analysis to uncover high-potential brands.
• Evaluate supplier SKU portfolios to prioritize sourcing efforts.
• Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding and international trade processes, including shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all products meet local import regulations, labeling, certifications, and food safety standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
