Qualifications

• Experience in managing a restaurant or F&B operations.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Proven leadership of restaurant staff and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to.
• Keep meticulous records of income and expenses.
• Order ingredients in correct quantities for kitchen staff.
• Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints.
• Open and close the restaurant on time.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
• Promote and market the business.
• Oversee stock levels and ordering of supplies.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints.
• Take reservations.
• Greet and advise customers.
• Problem solving.
• Prepare and present staffing/sales reports.
• Keep statistical and financial records.
• Assess and improve profitability.
• Liaise with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales reps.
• Make improvements to running of the business and develop the restaurant.
• Coordinate daily restaurant management operations.
• Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond to restaurant customer complaints efficiently and accurately.
