Job summary

SK CATERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Restaurant Operations support role to assist in planning and directing workers and resources for efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.

The position focuses on team leadership, coordination with chefs, and ensuring high standards of guest experience. Responsibilities include supervising service and food preparation, scheduling staff, handling inquiries, and supporting marketing and events.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• English plus one other language.
• Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, and reading floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning menus with chefs and ensuring efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste and ensure high-quality service.
• Collaborate with management to plan marketing, advertising, and special restaurant functions.
• Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
• Assist in dishwashing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
