Job summary

Raffles Hotel Singapore is seeking a Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across the hotel premises. You will verify visitors and contractors, manage passes and keys, log incidents, respond to alarms, and assist in evacuations and parking system duties.

The role requires PLRD-registered security credentials, WSQ Security Operations, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification, with at least two years in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Security Officer with PLRD and hold a valid PLRD-issued license.
• Secondary education with WSQ Certification in Security Operations.
• Certified in First Aid, CPR and AED.
• Certified CERT member per SCDF guidelines (HRI Tier 1).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hotel security experience.
• Outgoing, calm under pressure, willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Verifies visitors, guests and contractors and issues passes after verification.
• Records and manages keys, reports incidents, and maintains Security log.
• Responds to fire alarms and coordinates CERT and related actions.
• Assists in evacuation and manages Electronic Parking System records.
• Maintains a peaceful environment and reports disturbances.
• Patrols hotel grounds and perimeter for security and safety.
• Handles crowd control during events and supports CERT/First Aider roles.
• Willing to take on additional duties as assigned.
