Job summary

PRECISE DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for on-site supervision across civil/construction projects.

You will monitor daily contractor activity, review drawings, enforce safety and schedule adherence, and ensure compliance with approved plans and statutory requirements. Immediates vacancy. Ideal candidate holds a relevant diploma/degree, has at least 1 year of experience, and is registered as an RTO with BCA/IES/ACES.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES.
• Junior Executive preferred, civil/construction/structural focus or equivalent.
• Candidates with civil/infrastructure exposure will be given priority.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors' daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
• Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer.
• Review and check drawings and specs to ensure works follow approved plans.
• Highlight discrepancies, provide feedback on site progress and non-conformances.
• Assist in reviewing contractor method statements and ensure compliance on site.
• Prepare lists of defects and monitor rectification progress until closed.
• Ensure all construction works comply with statutory requirements.

Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer

Review and check all the drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.

Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.

Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.

Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified.

To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Candidate with civil/infrastructure experience will be considered earlier.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills
