Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced RTO site supervisor to lead architectural and fitting-out works on major building projects in Singapore.

You will oversee supervision, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety and construction administration requirements. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in relevant roles, including at least 5 years in supervision of similarly complex projects, with a Diploma in Architectural or Civil/Structural disciplines and BCSS

Qualifications

• a. 8 years of relevant RTO experience, with at least 5 years in supervision of similar complexity.
• b. Diploma in Architectural or Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• c. BCSS certificate for Building Construction Supervisors.
• d. Familiarity with statutory codes for site supervision, quality control, administration, and progress reporting.
• e. Able to maintain proper and updated site records on progress of works.
• f. Pro-active in resolving site issues with good team spirit.

Job description

Key Requirements:

• a. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a RTO, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in complexity, in particular, architectural and fitting out works in major building construction.
• b. Possess a Diploma in Architectural or the Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• c. Possess a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors' Safety (BCSS) Course.
• d. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
• e. Competent in keeping and maintaining proper and updated site records on the progress of works.
• f. Pro-active in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit.
