Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced RTO supervisor to oversee architectural and fitting-out works on major building projects. The role requires a Diploma in Architectural or Civil/Structural discipline and a BCSS certificate, with strong knowledge of site supervision standards.

The candidate should maintain meticulous site records, be proactive in issue resolution, and work well within a team to ensure project milestones are met and quality is upheld.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a RTO, with 5+ years in supervising architecturally complex works.
• Diploma in Architectural or Civil/Structural discipline from Polytechnic or equivalent.
• BCSS Course certificate.
• Knowledge of statutory codes for site supervision, QC procedures, construction administration, and progress reporting.
• Proficient in maintaining updated site records on progress of works.
• Proactive in resolving site issues with good team spirit.

Job description

Key Requirements:

a. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a RTO, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in complexity, in particular, architectural and fitting out works in major building construction.

b. Possess a Diploma in Architectural or the Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.

c. Possess a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors’ Safety (BCSS) Course.

d. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.

e. Competent in keeping and maintaining proper and updated site records on the progress of works.

f. Pro‑active in resolving and managing site issues with good team spirit.
