Job summary

KCL Consultants Pte. Ltd. seeks a Civil Site Supervisor for an 18-24 month project in Singapore beginning November/December 2026.

You will supervise site works, ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements, and monitor progress against plans. Requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, at least 4 years of supervision experience in factory or post-tensioning works, and a Resident Technical Officer certificate (IES/ACES).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervision experience on factory or post-tensioning works.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and codes.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure adherence to method statements and work procedures.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor’s site work.
• Ensure builders execute work per consultant instructions and drawings.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and propose solutions to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used on site.
• Maintain site inspection records, safety records and as-built drawings.
• Update site records on progress and prepare reports.
• Verify contractor progress payments and material deliveries.
• Witness inspection, testing and commissioning sessions for compliance.
• Report to project QP/Consultants Team on quality and progress.

Job Description:

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Period: 18-24 months
• Start from: November / December 2026

Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of Factory or Post-Tensioning Works
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES
