Job summary

KCL CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced site supervisor for supervision of factory or post-tensioning works. You will ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements, supervise works, and maintain comprehensive site records.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and a Resident Technical Officer certificate accredited by IES/ACES. Immediate start preferred for an 18–24 month contract in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of relevant supervision experience.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES/ACES.
• Knowledge of institutional projects and statutory codes.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and drawings to ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor’s work on site.
• Ensure work is executed according to consultant instructions and drawings.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and suggest solutions to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used on site.
• Keep proper site inspection records, safety records, and approved/as-built drawings.
• Maintain and update site records on progress, housekeeping, and reports.
• Verify contractor progress payments and claims for work done and materials delivered on site.
• Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning sessions for compliance with designs.

Job Description:

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Period: 18-24 months
• Start from: November 2026

Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of Factory or Post-Tensioning Works
