Job summary

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced RTO-based site supervisor to implement and sustain quality and safety systems on civil engineering projects. You will conduct regular site checks and ensure compliance with regulators and clients, while maintaining essential documentation and records.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in C&S Engineering and an IES RTO certificate, with 3–5 years of SG site experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (C&S).
• RTO certification from IES (Singapore) is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of site experience as an RTO in SG Civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain site supervision quality & safety systems.
• Perform regular site checks to ensure compliance with authorities regulations.
• Ensure proper site documentation for ongoing works, meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as-built submissions, etc.
• Assist on site to ensure works comply with regulatory and client requirements.
• Assist Consultant’s PM/SOR to coordinate site activities, verify progress and claims.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Authorities and Contractors to plan, supervise and handover projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
• To carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety in accordance with all Authorities regulations.
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed.
• Assist on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.
• Assist Consultant’s PM/ SOR to coordinate for the site activities, to verify the Contractor’s works progress and claims.
• Work closely with Professional Engineers, Regulatory Authorities and Contractors to provide planning, coordination, supervision and handover, not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in C&S Engineering with valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certificate from IES, Singapore.
• Min. 3 to 5 years’ site working experience as RTO in Singapore for Civil Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Authorities and Client requirements and regulation for construction.
