Job summary

Surbana Jurong, a leading civil engineering firm, seeks an RTO to implement and oversee site supervision quality, safety and regulatory compliance on civil projects in Singapore. The role emphasizes coordination with consultants, authorities and contractors to meet requirements and ensure timely delivery.

You will help ensure documentation, attend site meetings, verify progress and claims, and support handover with professional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in C&S Engineering with valid RTO certificate from IES, Singapore.
• 3–5 years' site experience as RTO on Singapore civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of authorities and client requirements and regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
• To carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety in accordance with all Authorities regulations.
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed.
• Assist on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.
• Assist Consultant's PM/ SOR to coordinate for the site activities, to verify the Contractor's works progress and claims.
• Work closely with Professional Engineers, Regulatory Authorities and Contractors to provide planning, coordination, supervision and handover, not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in C&S Engineering with valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certificate from IES, Singapore.
• Min. 3 to 5 years' site working experience as RTO in Singapore for Civil Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Authorities and Client requirements and regulation for construction.
