Job summary

YEXEL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced site professional to assist the Resident Engineer by supervising construction activities on site. You will monitor schedules, maintain progress records, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on site.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, RTOP certification, and PE Board registration when applicable, with familiarity in local Codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Registration with PE Board Singapore.
• IES/ACES accreditation with RTOP certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction work on site.
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards, ensure safety on site.
• Maintain and update site records on project progress.
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing material delivered to site.
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings).
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements.

Job Description

• Recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in construction, preferably in steel and precast building construction.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD are preferred.
