Job summary

MFT Resources & Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (Civil & Structural) to support infrastructure and building projects. You will supervise on-site works in line with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating with the RE, QP, consultants and contractors, reviewing method statements, maintaining site records, and ensuring conformance to BCA standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and BCA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil & Structural works on site per drawings, specs, method statements, and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BCA codes and project specifications.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety requirements.
• Witness inspections, testing, and material deliveries.

We're Hiring – Resident Technical Officer (RTO) (Civil & Structural) - Urgent Night Shift LTA project

MFT Resources & Services is looking for experienced and dedicated Resident Technical Officers (Civil & Structural) to support various infrastructure and building projects across Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil & Structural works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Ensure all construction works comply with BCA, project specifications, and relevant Singapore codes of practice.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety requirements.
• Witness site inspections, testing, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer (RE), Qualified Person (QP), consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and construction activities before commencement.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, inspection records, and site instructions.
• Identify non-conforming works and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project.

Requirements

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, BCA requirements, and relevant codes.
• Experience in infrastructure, drainage, roadworks, piling, structural works, or building construction is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of the project supervision team.
