Job summary

MFT Resources & Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (Civil & Structural) to support infrastructure and building projects. You will supervise on-site works in line with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating with the RE, QP, consultants and contractors, reviewing method statements, maintaining site records, and ensuring conformance to BCA standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and BCA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil & Structural works on site per drawings, specs, method statements, and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BCA codes and project specifications.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety requirements.
• Witness inspections, testing, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, QP, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Review method statements and construction activities before start.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and site instructions.
• Identify non-conforming works and implement corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project.
