Job summary

NTU Singapore is seeking a Deputy Cluster Lead for on-campus student housing and hostel services. You will manage applications, room allocations, and resident interactions, while coordinating with multiple departments to maintain service quality and safety standards.

The role demands strong managerial experience in residential or hospitality settings, with a focus on process improvements, billing accuracy, and staff leadership within campus housing operations.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with strong leadership experience in residential management or hospitality services.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial work experience preferred.
• Experience in student hostels or campus housing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee hostel application processing and room assignments, including waitlists and student appeals.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure high-quality rooms for check-in.
• Ensure accurate hall fee billing and timely refunds, and liaise on payments.
• Collaborate with departments and external vendors on maintenance and repairs.
• Engage residents to understand needs and address feedback; meet SLA targets.
• Plan communications on scheduled maintenance and other matters affecting residents.
• Lead safety and security walkthroughs, document actions and recommend improvements.
• Lead investigations, compile documentation for incidents, and propose sanctions as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of residents, occupancy and billing for reporting.
• Oversee bookings and pre/post-event arrangements for facilities.
• Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory disposal.
• Draft procurement requirements, quotations, tenders, and award recommendations.
• Plan, deploy and supervise staff within the Hall Office and onboard new joiners.
