Job summary

KCL Consultants Pte Ltd & CS Tech Consultants & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor/Resident Engineer to oversee civil works for a mixed development and residential project in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with regulations, monitor method statements, review drawings, and supervise contractor activities to maintain quality.

Requirements include a Diploma in Civil Engineering, 4+ years of supervision experience, and a valid RE certificate (IES/ACES).

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of mixed development and residential buildings
• Resident Engineer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES is a must, candidate without RE certificate need not apply
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications, construction drawings and ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are strictly followed
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor’s site works
• Ensure work is executed per Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, proposing solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used for the project
• Document site inspection records, safety records and approved/as-built drawings
• Maintain and update site records on progress, housekeeping and reports
• Verify contractors' progress payments and claims for work done and materials delivered
• Witness inspections, testing and commissioning for compliance with designs and specs
• Report to project QP/Consultants Team on quality and progress

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Period: 8 months
• Start from: November 2026
