JAK ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) to support LTA projects across Singapore.

You will supervise Civil & Structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and Singapore codes. The role requires registration as a Resident Engineer with BCA/IES, at least 2 years of site supervision experience, and strong communication and coordination skills for collaboration with engineers, contractors, and

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer with BCA/IES (Civil & Structural).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant site supervision experience in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, BCA requirements, and relevant codes.
• Experience in infrastructure, drainage, roadworks, piling, structural works, or building construction is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills. Able to work independently and as part of the project supervision team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil & Structural works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Ensure all construction works comply with BCA, project specifications, and relevant Singapore codes.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety requirements. Witness site inspections, testing, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with the Senior Resident Engineer (RE), Qualified Person (QP), consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and construction activities before commencement.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, inspection records and site instructions.
• Identify non-conforming works and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project.
