Job summary

PASSION E&C PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to review Authority and Contractor drawings, provide endorsements, and supervise civil and structural works both permanent and temporary on-site in Singapore.

The role requires accreditation by IES/ACES, a Bachelor’s degree (or higher), and at least five years of engineering experience. The incumbent will ensure permits are in place, oversee safety and environmental matters, supervise instrumentation installation, review formwork and

Qualifications

The RE must be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
Provide endorsements required by authorities.
Supervise civil and structural works (permanent and temporary).
Ensure contractor has all permits and clearance to work.
Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions and preventive measures are implemented.
Review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures and formwork support systems.
Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
Supervise the installation of instrumentation.
Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works.
Review, evaluate and assess monitoring instrumentation and interpretation of results.
Review the Contractor's design and supervise all works.
