Job summary

T.Y.LIN INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to oversee a major healthcare development project with deep basement works in Singapore.

The role requires extensive hands-on supervision of C&S works on-site, strict adherence to Building Control Act duties, and collaboration with the QP(S). You must hold a PEB-recognized Civil Engineering degree and be registered with IES/BCAs as a site Resident Engineer, with availability to start mid-November 2026 for a project running

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of site experience and/or supervision of Civil and Structural works.
• Experience in site execution involving reinforced concrete, structural steel, piling and ground improvement.
• Experience supervising medium- to large-scale building developments, including temporary works and GBW using top-down construction methods.
• Able to start work by mid-November 2026.
• Anticipated project duration from Nov 2026 to Nov 2030.
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB and registered with IES as Resident Engineer.
• Registered with BCA/IES/ACES as site Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time supervision in accordance with building works plans approved under Building Control Act.
• Comply with statutory duties for supervision of works on site as per Building Control Act and Regulations.
• Report to and work under the direction of the Qualified Person for Supervision (QP(S)).

Job Description:

• Major healthcare development project comprising deep basement works.
• Successful candidate is expected to exercise due diligence and provide immediate full-time supervision according to the plans of building works approved under section 5 of the Building Control Act.
• Must comply with his/her statutory duties with regard to the supervision of works onsite as stipulated in Building Control Act and Regulations.
• Report to and work under the direction of Qualified Person for Supervision [QP(S)].
