Job summary

Logicalis in Singapore is seeking an entry-level IT support engineer to join our on-site team. You will troubleshoot network, wireless, and printer issues, assist with system infrastructure and room-booking tools, and support users across the organization.

You will perform routine maintenance, participate in access control tasks, and coordinate with engineers to resolve problems while maintaining clear documentation. Training and standby duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcomed with interest in IT.
• Diploma or higher in IT/Computing.
• Customer-oriented with clear communication.
• Willing to perform after-hours standby duties.
• Knowledge of network, wireless, and security technologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for Network Infrastructure, Wireless connectivity and Printer issues.
• Assist in System Infrastructure, Meeting Room Booking, Door Access System and Skype/Exchange.
• Provide technical assistance and support for users.
• Conduct routine maintenance.
• Minor network changes and setup (e.g., new SSID creation).
• Training on End User Computing Policies.
• Review user access and maintain up-to-date site documents.
• Open/close support tickets and update helpdesk and customers.
• Collaborate with engineers for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support to troubleshoot and remediation for following technology: Network Infrastructure, Wireless connectivity and Printer Driver Issues
• Assist in the following technology: System Infrastructure, Meeting Room Booking System (app), Door Access System [Key Card, Facial Scan, QR Code], Booking System (app), Skype & Microsoft Exchange and Printing Facility
• Provide technical assistance and support for users
• Conduct routine maintenance
• Minor network changes and setup (eg. new SSID creation, configure new
• network point, etc.)
• Training (Policies & End User Computing Policies)
• Review of user access to ensure dormant/obsolete user accounts are removed or made inactive in the system in a timely manner following appropriate authorization
• Maintain & ensure site documentation are up to date
• Responsible for opening and closing of support tickets when applicable and providing timely updates to helpdesk personnel and customer for support cases that has been allocated to you
• Work closely with various team of engineers for troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Role is opened to fresh graduates (NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, Etc..)
• Graduates in relevant fields of studies (IT, Infocomm, Com Science, Etc..)
• People with 0 to 1 year of IT related working experience are welcomed to apply.
• Looking for candidates will a strong interest/passion to learn and grow in the technology space.
• Candidate should be customer oriented and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Candidates should be willing to perform after office hours activities and standby duties
• Existing knowledge/certification for network operations including network, wireless, security technologies will be an added advantage.
