Job summary

BRADY BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Resident Technical Officer to supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to BCA regulations and client specifications.

You will liaise with main contractors, architects and engineers to approve shop drawings and resolve site issues, while ensuring safety and quality across structural and architectural works. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, RTRT (C&S) registration, and strong interpersonal skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant building works experience, including HDB/JTC/LTA projects.
• RTRT (C&S) registration with IES or ACES is required.
• Good knowledge of BCA regulations, local codes, and safety requirements.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with BCA regulations and client requirements.

• Monitor progress of rectification works and quality of materials.

Job description

• Supervision of construction activities to ensure compliance with BCA regulations and client requirements.

• To ensure that all Structural, Architectural installation works at site are carried out in accordance with approved plans, building-by-laws and contract specifications.
• To assist the Architects/Engineers to supervise the contractors and co-ordinate with consultants to ensure work on site is done to achieve the objectives of quality and timeliness.
• Management of site safety in accordance with Ministry of Manpower guidelines.
• Attendance at site meetings and preparation of meeting minutes.
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of rectification works and quality of materials.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building works, as well as HDB, JTC, and LTA projects.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with IES or ACES.
• Sound knowledge of BCA regulations, local codes, and workplace safety requirements.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
