Job summary

LEAD RJC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to supervise civil and structural works on site under a Qualified Person’s guidance. You will liaise with main contractors and engineers, inspect works, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and regulations.

You will monitor progress, coordinate between contractors and consultants, and lead a team on site to ensure timely, compliant delivery of construction activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil/structural works on site.
• Familiarity with local regulations and building codes.
• Ability to liaise with engineers, contractors and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Work under Qualified Person supervision and be responsible for their tasks.
• Liaise and conduct inspections with Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• Assist QP on all structural works per approved drawings.
• Monitor progress and assist QP on structural inspections as per drawings.
• Check and monitor structural and architectural works against contract drawings and method statements.
• Provide standing supervision for construction of civil and structural works per project specs and Building Control Act.
• Be in charge of on-site team of site staff or Resident Technical Officers and oversee their performance.
• Oversee all aspects of project construction, keep records, attend meetings, and coordinate contractor works with consultants.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of the appropriate Qualified Person when carry out their supervision and fully responsible to the appropriate QP.
• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• To assist QP on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To monitor the progress and assist QP on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.
• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To be overall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of their work and performance.
• To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:

• RE registration with IES is mandatory
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Have at least 4 years of experience in site supervision of works
• Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
