Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (Singapore Branch) is seeking a Resident Architect with strong site supervision and coordination experience to manage architectural works on-site at Tampines. The role requires full-time dedication from commencement and active involvement through project handover.

• Minimum 8 years of architectural experience with Degree in relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity in local context.
• The Resident Architect shall be dedicated full time on Site, not less than 6 months before BSC until CWW is obtained.
• Location: Tampines

Responsibilities

• Site supervision to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, quality and design intent.
• Technical review of shop drawings, submissions, samples, mock-ups and details.
• Site coordination with contractors and consultants to resolve issues and interfaces.
• Quality and progress control: inspect workmanship, identify defects, monitor rectification and progress.
• Documentation and contract support: maintain site records, reports, and assist with variations and handover.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision - Monitor architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and design intent.
• Technical Review - Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups and architectural details.
• Site Coordination - Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other disciplines to resolve site issues, RFIs and design interfaces.
• Quality & Progress Control - Inspect workmanship, identify defects/non-compliance, monitor rectification and track construction progress.
• Documentation & Contract Support - Maintain site records, inspection reports and correspondence, and assist with variations, claims, authority submissions and project handover.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Job Specification:
