Job summary

NTU’s Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) invites applications for a Research Scientist – Green AI to advance efficient, sustainable AI systems. You will develop novel algorithms and system-level innovations to reduce energy use while preserving performance in large AI models.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, NLP, or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in Large Language Models and NLP, Efficient Deep Learning, AI Model Optimization.
• Research experience in Green AI, sustainable computing, or energy-efficient ML.
• Excellent publication records in reputable journals/conferences.
• Strong programming skills in Python and modern AI frameworks.

We are seeking an outstanding Research Scientist – Green AI to conduct cutting-edge research on efficient, sustainable, and scalable artificial intelligence technologies. The successful candidate will develop novel algorithms and system-level innovations that significantly improve the energy efficiency, computational efficiency, and deployment of large AI models while maintaining high model performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong research background in large language models (LLMs), efficient deep learning, natural language processing, model optimization, and AI systems, with a proven publication record at top-tier AI conferences and journals.
