NEU Battery Materials PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a research scientist to advance its electrochemical redox recycling platform. You will explore current tech, identify knowledge gaps, and design experiments toward scalable solutions with the Engineering Team.

The role emphasizes impurity removal, ion interaction studies, and analytical measurement of organics and trace ions, translating bench results to pilot-scale operations. Strong chemistry and separation-methods background required.

Competenze

• PhD or MS/BS with hands-on research in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering, materials science or related field
• 3–5 years of experimental research in a related field
• Solid grounding in solution chemistry: speciation, solubility and precipitation equilibria, kinetics
• Hands-on experience with at least one separation or purification method (ion exchange, adsorption, precipitation, crystallisation)
• Practical analytical skills (ICP-OES/MS, ion chromatography, TOC, UV-Vis, titration) with data-quality judgement
• Experience with HW cross-discipline backgrounds and translating bench findings to scale

Mansioni

• Develop impurity-removal steps for complex process solutions (ion exchange, precipitation, adsorption, filtration)
• Investigate ion interactions in mixed solutions, including kinetics and crystallisation
• Measure and characterise organics and trace ions; own analytical methods
• Translate bench findings into scale parameters for pilot and process engineering
• Contribute to grant proposals, patent filings and internal technical docs
