NEU Battery Materials Pte Ltd is seeking an R&D Intern to support wet chemical and electrochemical testing in a Singapore lab. You will assist in preparing experimental setups, analyze samples, and operate analytical instruments under senior supervision.

Qualifications

• Educational background aligned to chemistry or materials sciences
• Lab experience and basic electrochemical/analytical chemistry knowledge preferred
• Strong learning drive and problem-solving ability
• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Detail-oriented and well organized

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of experimental setups under the guidance of senior researchers
• Prepare and analyze samples with wet chemical methods and instrumental analysis
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments, ensuring accurate data recording during experiments
• Troubleshoot and address technical issues with equipment
• Upkeep and maintenance of laboratory inventory, procurement, and instrument calibration
• Collaborate with researchers to collect and analyze data from experiments
• Keep records of experimental procedures, data, and observations, and compile results into reports
• Implement quality control measures and upkeep of the lab to ensure reliability of experimental data
• Have a basic understanding of safety procedures in a lab setting, and adheres to safety (HSE) protocols and participate in safety training
• Fundamental research into new methodologies and approaches
