Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES in Singapore is seeking a Research Officer to support ongoing R&D projects with hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and scientific documentation. You will contribute to the development of novel formulations and delivery systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.

The role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Nanotechnology.
• Related disciplines may be considered.
• Experience in laboratory research or R&D settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments according to project objectives and protocols.
• Develop, optimize, and evaluate formulations and delivery systems, including nucleic acids or biologics.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, presentations, and technical summaries.
• Maintain accurate records, notebooks, and project documentation.
• Support technology development, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in drafting reports, publications, patents, and grant proposals.
